Mariyah Pressley
Mariyah Pressley is a recent graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she received her B.S in Biomedical Engineering. Mariyah was heavily involved with mentoring students and conducting research throughout her undergraduate matriculation. She participated in research internships at The University of Texas at Austin and Yale University. Today, Mariyah is a Biomedical Engineering PhD student at the University of South Florida and a dancer at VYB Dance Company.
She is a H.O.M.E. Scholar, NIH MARC Scholar, NACME Scholar, Alfred P. Sloan Scholar, and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. |
Experiences Abroad |
Mariyah was the first female student from NCA&T to participate in the Rising Sophomore Abroad Program (RSAP) in collaboration with students from Virginia Tech to explore engineering universities and industries in Italy, Switzerland, and Germany.
