HBCU Travelers Campus Ambassador Program:
Founded in 2016, HBCU Travelers is a non-profit organization that works to develop HBCU students by encouraging and enabling experiential learning through travel. Part of our effort includes creating content that educates students about the benefits of travel, while motivating them to explore the world themselves. We also fundraise year-round, which allows us to provide deserving students with passports, scholarships, and educational trips abroad.
We are looking for a creative group of Campus Ambassadors, from every HBCU in the nation, to join us as we continue to grow. Ambassadors must be passionate about impacting the lives of students. You will gain valuable knowledge and a unique experience working with a non-profit startup. You will enhance your leadership and communication skills, develop relationships with peers from other schools, gain exposure to the HBCU Travelers founding team, and ultimately help make travel accessible to future global leaders.
Volunteering as an HBCU Travelers Ambassador is about more than promoting on social media or asking people to donate. It’s about inspiring others. It’s about breaking down barriers. It's about serving as a vessel of change for students who believe seeing the world is impossible.
Joining this team will not only allow you to make an impact on your community; it will push you to get out of your own comfort zone and explore the world, so that you are better equipped to encourage others to do the same. Ambassadors will be required to host at least one HBCU Travelers outreach program on their own campus per year.
